On this day, we celebrate the end of Ramadan (a period of fasting). It is customary to first visit the mosque and then spend as much time as possible with family. Additionally, it is common to exchange gifts and enjoy many delicious sweet dishes. The Sugar Feast is also a day of forgiveness, as mistakes are forgiven through a hug. Women often decorate their hands with henna.
