Tie a strong rope to this and throw the other end over a tightly stretched clothesline or an unbreakable object. An adult must hold the loose end and make the piñata bounce up and down during the game. There is no guarantee regarding the number of hits before a piñata breaks; with hard hits, the piñata may break after just one hit. Blindfold each child one at a time and guide them to the piñata. Let each child hit the piñata once or twice. Alternate this until the piñata breaks. With a piñata that has a pull function, each child can take turns pulling one of the ribbons hanging underneath the piñata.
